Volunteer

On Wednesday, March 18, 2020, Joy’s House Adult Day and Caregiver Support Services in Broad Ripple and the University of Indianapolis temporarily suspended operations due to the COVID-19 pandemic. As a result we also temporarily suspended our volunteer program.

Our top priority is always the safety and care of our Guests (clients) and we will do everything in our power to provide the most responsible and secure setting in which to serve our seniors and/or those affected by a life-altering diagnosis. Since we serve one of the most vulnerable populations susceptible to this novel coronavirus, we temporarily suspended services at our houses (facilities) in order to protect them, their family caregivers, and our staff and volunteers from possible exposure.

If you’re interested in volunteering in the future click here for updates.

Serving our Joy’s House community is made possible through the work and the compassion of our volunteers. You can support adults with life-altering diagnoses and their families when you become a Joy’s House volunteer.
