As of our Joy’s House Broad Ripple re-open date, July 1st, all in-person volunteer services opportunities have been suspended. Virtual volunteer projects will be limited, but email firstname.lastname@example.org to find out more.
Our top priority is always the safety and care of our Guests (clients) and we will do everything in our power to provide the most responsible and secure setting in which to serve our seniors and/or those affected by a life-altering diagnosis. Since we serve one of the most vulnerable populations susceptible to this novel coronavirus, we temporarily suspended our volunteer program at our houses (facilities) in order to protect our Guests, their family caregivers, and our staff and volunteers from possible exposure.
Serving our Joy’s House community is made possible through the work and the compassion of our volunteers. You can support adults with life-altering diagnoses and their families when you become a Joy’s House volunteer.
There are a number of ways to donate your time to Joy’s House. Volunteers are matched to positions based on ability, interest, and position availability. What unique talents would you like to share with our Guests and caregivers?
AMBASSADOR: Support our services by working in our local and online communities, volunteering at fundraising events, conferences and fairs and connecting with local businesses.
