Each year thousands of craft beer enthusiasts wait in line for entry into Winterfest, the largest beer fest in Indiana, presented by The Brewers of Indiana Guild. Once inside they enjoy beer samples from over 100 breweries in support of The Guild’s mission to, among other things, promote the highest quality of standards of professional brewing in Indiana.

What these beer enthusiasts don’t see are the dozens of families that are benefiting from their Winterfest attendance.  These families, affected by a life altering diagnosis, are making the choice to care for a loved one in the comfort of their own home.  These families, due to this decision, sometimes need a little extra support. The Guild helps with this by donating a portion of the proceeds from Winterfest to the Joy’s House scholarship fund, that it turn helps families in financial hardship find relief.
