A Hau’oli Project Volunteer Advocate spreads joy amongst family caregivers in the community by scheduling weekly call/check ins with your matched caregiver and engaging in meaningful activities along the way. Communication with your matched caregiver is done remotely and electronically via phone, text, email, Zoom, etc.
Engagement is meant to last about 10-12 weeks with an average of 30-60 minutes per week of communication with your matched caregiver. An initial orientation and periodic check-ins will be provided by a Joy’s House representative.
